Overview
Imagination (想像/そうぞう, sōzō \ 想像力/そうぞうりょく, sōzōryoku \ イマジネーション, imajinēshon) is to picture in one's mind the appearance or condition of an object that is not present in the scene or is in an unrecognizable state of existence.
The imagined content may be exactly as it is in reality, or it may be quite far removed from reality.
In any case, the ability to imagine is absolutely essential for making art.
