Overview
Spacetime (時空, jikū) is a generic term for time and space. Or, a concept that combines time and space.
The universe is sometimes described as a "four-dimensional spacetime" because it is composed of three dimensions of space and one dimension of time.
According to the theory of relativity, time and space are compatible, and it is sometimes thought that within a black hole, the time dimension and one space dimension are reversed.
In the wave equation, there is a difference between real numbers and pure imaginary numbers.
