Overview
Mobile Suit Gundam 00 (機動戦士ガンダム00（ダブルオー）, Kidō Senshi Gandamu Daburu Ō, Mobile Suit Gundam Double-O) is one of the Gundam series produced by MBS, animated by Sunrise and aired on TBS from 2007 to 2009. It was the first Gundam series to be broadcast in high-definition.
It was also the the first Gundam series broadcast on TV to consist of two parts: the first season (2307 A.D.) and the second season (2312 A.D.). After the TV series was broadcast, Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer was released on September 18, 2010 as the final part of the series. This is the first completely new Gundam movie in 19 years, since Mobile Suit Gundam F91 in 1991.
