Outline

Rosaria is a 4-star playable Polearm Cryo character in Genshin Impact.

The least devout among the nuns of the Church of Favonius, Rosaria prefers acting in the shadows rather than participating in the activities of the Church.

Talents

• Normal Attack: Spear of the Church

1. Normal Attack: Performs up to 5 consecutive spear strikes.
2. Charged Attack: Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to lunge forward, dealing damage to opponents along the way.
3. Plunging Attack: Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

• Elemental Skill: Ravaging Confession

Rosaria swiftly shifts her position to appear behind her opponent, then stabs and slashes them with her polearm, dealing Cryo DMG.

This ability cannot be used to travel behind opponents of a larger build.

• Elemental Burst: Rites of Termination

Rosaria's unique take on this prayer ritual: First, she swings her weapon to slash surrounding opponents; then, she summons a frigid Ice Lance that strikes the ground. Both actions deal Cryo DMG.

While active, the Ice Lance periodically releases a blast of cold air, dealing Cryo DMG to surrounding opponents.

• 1st Ascension Passive: Regina Probationum

When Rosaria strikes an opponent from behind using Ravaging Confession, Rosaria's CRIT Rate increases by 12% for 5s.

• 4th Ascension Passive: Shadow Samaritan

Casting Rites of Termination increases CRIT Rate of all nearby party members (except Rosaria herself) by 15% of Rosaria's CRIT Rate for 10s.

CRIT Rate Bonus gained this way cannot exceed 15%.

• Utility Passive: Night Walk

At night (18:00 – 6:00), increases the Movement SPD of your own party members by 10%.

Does not take effect in Domains, Trounce Domains, or Spiral Abyss. Not stackable with Passive Talents that provide the same effects.

Constellation

• Level 1: Unholy Revelation

When Rosaria deals a CRIT Hit, her ATK SPD increases by 10% and her Normal Attack DMG increases by 10% for 4s.

• Level 2: Land Without Promise

The duration of the Ice Lance created by Rites of Termination is increased by 4s.

• Level 3: The Wages of Sin

Increases the Level of Ravaging Confession by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.

• Level 4: Painful Grace

Ravaging Confession's CRIT Hits regenerate 5 Energy for Rosaria.

Can only be triggered once each time Ravaging Confession is cast.

• Level 5: Last Rites

Increases the Level of Rites of Termination by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.

• Level 6: Divine Retribution

Rites of Termination's attack decreases opponents' Physical RES by 20% for 10s.

Personality

Rosaria is a somewhat intimidating woman who has a rather unorthodox idea of piety. Kaeya describes her as someone who is "honest with herself". She dislikes topics that bore her and having to work overtime. Fischl overheard her cursing out someone in Barbatos' name and takes it as a sign of Rosaria's piety, an interpretation Oz doubts. Like Fischl, her intuition is very keen, as she's well aware that Diluc, Kaeya, Venti and Albedo are more than what they appear to be.

Despite her position in the church, Rosaria is the least devout; she is always guaranteed to skip all church activities when possible and the first one to leave if she is forced to attend. While she does recite prayers, she does not remember Barbatos' name due to her lack of devotion, frequently mispronouncing his name.

Secretly, she acts as a purveyor of justice for the Church, investigating potential threats to Mondstadt and eliminating them if necessary. She is particularly skilled in killing, having been taught by her former "family", a group of bandits before they had been wiped out by the Knights of Favonius. Due to being offered a chance for redemption by Varka, Rosaria sees herself differently to the people of Mondstadt, and is indebted to them for their unselfish warmth and goodwill.

Though my impression of her is not bad — certainly better than a certain someone whose name I won't bother to mention. She's honest with herself. She casts off that which she has no time for and she doesn't feign motivation for affairs that do not interest her.

Some may see Sister Rosaria as one who complains about how bothersome her work is, but she does her job well. Last time I saw her I told her she could come find me should she ever need help, to which she simply replied that doing so would be even more bothersome. I need to work harder to become of more assistance to the people of Mondstadt.

Paimon: The clothes that shrine maidens wear are quite unique.

(Traveler): I heard that after the Sakoku Decree is lifted, Yae Miko plans to run a rental service where people can try on shrine maiden outfits as a tourist attraction in various places. Combined with the latest Kamera technology from Fontaine, it seems like a real Mora maker.

Paimon: Oh!

(Traveler): The shrine maidens in the Grand Shrine even asked me if I knew any pretty girls who are willing to become models. All they need to do is to dress up in a shrine maiden outfit and smile to the Kamera. They even asked me to be a model and said all I needed was some makeup.

(Traveler): I immediately shared this idea with Rosaria. I feel like they can do something similar at the Church of Favonius with the garments they wear.
