    It is co-developed by Subaru and Toyota alongside its sister cars, the Toyota 86 and Scion FR-S. The initial of 'B' in BRZ means Boxer engine, 'R' means Rear-wheel-drive and 'Z' means Zenith.


    Unlike the Toyota cars, the BRZ focus on griping rather than drifting the Toyota cars (86 and FR-S) are focus on.
