Overview
Encouragement of Climb: Next Summit (ヤマノススメ Next Summit, "Yamanosume Next Summit") is the fourth season of the "Encouragement of Climb" TV anime series, which began airing in October 2022.
Production of this season was announced on 19 March 2021.
The main cast and staff will continue to work on the series, and Eight Bit is continuing to be in charge of the animation production. In addition to this, KADOKAWA has joined the production committee from this season.
The series is broadcast on TOKYOMX, BS11, Mainichi Broadcasting System and AT-X from Fall 2022.
This is the first 30-minute animation in the TV series' history.
The first four episodes consist of a compilation of the first three seasons plus new cuts, followed by new episodes from episode 5.
Plot
Aoi and Hinata started mountain climbing together, gradually increasing their altitude from the 197 m Mount Tenran, to the 599 m Mount Takao, to the 1786 m Mount Mitsutoge.
Tanigawa-dake, a mountain with fond memories for both of them, and as they toured the famous peaks of the Kanto region, their outdoor life was enriched by the addition of friends such as Kokona, Kaede and Honoka.
Aoi's knowledge of the mountains, equipment and physical strength are enhanced, and she aims for even greater heights.
