Overview
Inu × Boku SS started as a manga currently serializing in Gangan Joker since 2009 and there are 5 tankobon volumes available. The series was then adapted into an anime series in 2012 and is now airing in Japan. The anime has also been licensed by Sentai Filmworks for streaming and home video release in North America.
Synopsis
Ririchiyo Shirakiin, the daughter of the Shirakin family, felt the need to move away from home and live alone as she always thought of herself as a useless individual who is unable to live independently and unprotected.
While her family did not object her intentions, they allowed her to leave under the condition that she has to live in a ghost mansion (Ayakashi-kan) called "Maison De Ayakashi".
In this mansion, only those who went through a rigid examination will be allowed to move in and will be assigned an agent from the "Secret Service"(SS) once the permission is granted.
While Ririchou rejected the assignment, Soushi Miketsukami, a SS member who is assigned to her, is actually a Fox Spirit whom she previously rescued.
