Overview
Joō sensei is a school nurse at the high school that Momo, Okarun, and others attend.
The teacher was dressed in a very sexy outfit. The way she looks down at the students with her black eye sockets while holding a baton in one hand has the appearance of a queen (女王, Joō, means "Queen" in Japanese), but at heart she is a warm-hearted and kind teacher who does not tolerate bullying.
When Momo and the others ran into the infirmary in their underwear after being attacked by the Serpo aliens, she worried that they had been bullied.
Although she treats students kindly, she can be a bit extreme, such as calling a fellow teacher bald and punishing him for coming into the nurse's office without knocking.
In fact, she has spiritual powers and can enter the void. Since she is a teacher who listens intently to all concerns, she even listens to the students' concerns about ghosts. As she goes with them to perform exorcisms and visit bad places where spirits are present, she says that she has started to be able to see spirits herself.
