Overview
MAJOR (メジャー, mejā) by Takuya Mitsuda, was first published in 1994 as part of the Weekly Shōnen Sunday magazine. In 2004, an anime series was aired on NHK E animated by Studio Hibari and later by SynergySP.
Plot
Gorō Honda is a young and enthusiastic baseball fanatic who dreams of becoming a baseball player just like his father Shigeharu Honda. With much determination and perseverance despite all of the trials that go in his way, Gorō strives hard to reach his ultimate dream of being in the Major Leagues.
