Overview
Male voice actor (男性声優) refers to any man whose job is being a voice actor. In this article, this will refer to ones in Japan. Most of these voice actors play male characters, but they also play distinctive female characters (old women, etc.), mascot characters, animals, children, depending on their voice quality.
Compared to female voice actors, the total number of voice actors is small, and few of them are active in both music and entertainment, but once they become popular, they are active as voice actors for a very long time.
