Overview
The Muppets (マペット) are a group of absurdist, surrealist, and burlesque, puppet characters created by Jim Henson. The first Muppet production was in 1955 with Sam and Friends and was the first ever appearance of Kermit the Frog. Other Muppet productions are Fraggle Rock, Sesame Street, and The Muppet Show. The Muppets are now owned by The Walt Disney Company.

- Kermit the Frog: A green puppet frog who is most notable for hosting The Muppet Show. Currently preformed by Matt Vogel.
- Miss Piggy: A puppet pig with temperamental diva superstar personality, notable for her breakout role in The Muppet Show. Currently preformed by Eric Jacobson.
- Fozzie Bear: A orange-brown puppet bear best known as the insecure and comedically fruitless stand-up comic on The Muppet Show. Currently preformed by Eric Jacobson.
- Gonzo: A blue puppet most known for his daredevil performance feats on The Muppet Show. Currently preformed by Dave Goelz.
- Animal: A red puppet most known for being the wild and frenzied drummer of the fictional house band on The Muppet Show, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. Currently preformed by Eric Jacobson.
Sesame Street
- Elmo: A red furry monster puppet with a high-pitched falsetto voice and frequently refers to himself in the third person. He also hosts "Elmo's World,"a five-minute segment on Sesame Street. Currently preformed by Ryan Dillon.
- Big Bird: A 8'2 feet tall yellow bird puppet who lives in a nest on Sesame Street. Currently preformed by Matt Vogel.
- Cookie Monster: A blue furry monster who loves cookies on Sesame Street. Currently preformed by David Rudman
- Bert: A golden yellow puppet with a unibrow and a love for pigeons and paperclips, Bert is the roommate of Ernie on Sesame Street. Currently preformed by Eric Jacobson.
- Ernie: A orange puppet who is the naïve troublemaker of Bert, his roommate on Sesame Street. Currently preformed by Peter Linz.
- Oscar the Grouch: A shaggy green puppet who loves trash and lives in a trash can on Sesame Street. Currently preformed by Eric Jacobson.
- Count von Count: A light purple vampire puppet who loves to count on Sesame Street. Currently preformed by Matt Vogel.
