Tamayo

In demon slayer, Tamayo is one of the only three demons who are allies to the demon slayer corp, alongside Yushiro and Nezuko Kamado. She is a close ally to Tanjiro Kamado.

Tamayo is a beautiful woman with long dark brown hair that is often braided into a low bun. She has large, gentle purple eyes that do not contain any pupils. Her pale complexion is also juxtaposed with her notable red lips, giving an overall warm feeling to her appearance.

Tamayo was once a married woman with a husband and children. Her life turned upside down when she was suddenly struck with an incurable illness. It was during this time that Muzan Kibutsuji offered to treat her illnesses. Tamayo naively accepted the treatment and was later turned into a demon. In her demon haze, she killed her husband and children as well as other humans. She later served as Muzan's subordinate, plotting to take revenge but later on gave up due to the massive power gap between her and Muzan.

However, after seeing Muzan almost being killed by Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the strongest swordsman in the history of demon slayer corp. The passion for revenge was reignited in her. Yoriichi spared Tamayo during their encounter, sensing that she will be an asset to the demon corp. Tamayo eventually escape and plotted revenge for Muzan for hundreds of years before the fated encounter with Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado.
