What is a seasonal effect tag?
Seasonal effect tags are tags that allow you to add seasonal visual effects to the works you post.
The period for every seasonal effect tag is different. You can check the period during which the effect will be displayed and the tag name for each effect on the news page or pixiv's official X account.

This feature can currently be used only for illustrations.
This feature can only be used on the desktop and smartphone versions of pixiv.
The effect will not be displayed in the app even if the tag is used.

How to use
You can use seasonal effect tags in two ways:
1. Post your work with the specified tag during the event period on the illustration submission screen.
By clicking "Check" under "Check animation", you can see how the effect will be displayed on the illustration before posting.
You can check by uploading one or more illustrations with the specified tag.
2. Add the specified tag during the event period to the tags of illustrations you have posted in the past.

Notes
After the period for the seasonal tag ends, the effect will automatically be turned off even if the tag is used.
Seasonal effect tags will work only if you tag your own illustrations.
Tagging other people's illustrations will have no effect.
