Introducion

A bookworm feared by many due to her seriousness and her skills at the dark art “Sanguis Manipulus” which consists of controlling one's own blood for both offensive and defensive matters.

Ever since she met up with Poli she has been determined to protect her no matter the cost as Poli is the only one who has managed to make her feel loved in a long time and has pure heart which, according to her, is rare to see in today’s age. Poli’s influence on her has been so big, that she became “slightly” more open to meet new people, like Sali for example.

Appearance

Yari has short and blood colored hair held together by a headband with 2 triangular shapes which contain a teeth like pattern, her poor vision makes her wear some gigantic round glasses accompanied by cute freckles and blue eyes. She has a choker with a metallic heart shape in the middle. She wears an off shoulder tight blouse and black plaid skirt with red tones from here and there. She has fishnets and thigh highs combined with some heavy black boots.

Personality

Yari is serious, irritable, slightly devilish and loves having control in any kind of troublesome situation by using her brain or pure raw power. She became this cold-blooded due to her tragic past which led her to consider feelings such as kindness and guilt meant for weaklings. Fortunately, not everything in her life is black as her heart softened a bit with the influence of her slave, Poli and Sali. They know she hides a soft spot in her heart and have managed to put a smile on her face, although there are times where she simply grins whenever she punishes and becomes dominant on her slave or something bad happens to the person she hates. Yari might not express it too much due to her seriousness, but she really loves and cares about her few and only friends, they have proven to her and she's willing to protect them with her life.

In short, Yari is a grumpy and serious young lady, but despite that she cares about the group and helps them to think with a cold head in worrisome situations. Outside the group she has a short temper and becomes a bit passive-aggressive with her tone.

Trivia

• She was meant to be Bunalonne’s 2nd main character and still is to this day. The 1st one was a character named “Moti”.
• By far one of Bunalonne’s characters with most redesigns, in the beginning Yari was meant to be full yandere mode and literally named “Yandi”, she used to be a voluptuous thick anime girl just to later be changed for a smaller and younger form. Only her round glasses and red hair have been maintained since the very beginning.
• Originally meant to have heterochromia. One blue and one red eye respectively.
• Her main weapon are scissors which can also be used as a great sword, according to Bunalonne, this is a reference to one of his favorite weapons in the Monster Hunter series the “Switch Axe”. In fact, one of Yari’s attack moves is greatly inspired by “The Finishing Discharge” for said weapon.
• Her other attack move is also a huge inspiration from one of the “Blood Veils charge attacks” found in Code Vein.
• Her dark art “Sanguis Manipulus” is greatly inspired from the Mortal Kombat character “Skarlet”.
• Her headband is a reference to the “Abyssal Teeth” from Kantai Collection.
• Yari’s current and more established personality is mostly based on, according to Bunalonne, his dark and apathetic side.
• Her allergic conjunctivitis is mostly inspired from Bunalonne’s constant allergenic conjunctivitis symptoms back in nord Italy.
• Her name uses the same words as one of Bunalonne’s names, her surname is a combination of the words “Steel + Blood”.
• Due to her dark art being own's blood based, if she pushes it further her sclera turns red and can even faint. Worst case scenario is death, so she often mindful about preventing such things.
