Handsome (ハンサム, hansamu) is used to describe the good looks of someone. Usually this word is often used to describe men in their late 20s or older who have gradually matured. Over the years the word became more neutral, such as with the tag handsome woman. There are no clear standards or rules, and it is up to each individual to decide who to call handsome.
