Makima (マキマ, Makima), is the leader of the Public Safety Devil Hunter Section 4. She is the boss of the main character, Denji, who is a devil hunter directly under the Chainsaw Devil.
She met Denji when he was on his way to defeat a "zombie demon" and recruited him to the Public Safety Devil Hunter.
It seems that she is looking for the "gun demon" that once wreaked havoc all over the world, and she promises to grant Denji whatever he wishes for when he defeats this "gun demon".
