Outline
The Wanderer is a 5-star playable Catalyst Anemo character in Genshin Impact.
The Wanderer came into existence in place of his previous incarnation after the latter expunged his previous appellations and their respective histories from Irminsul. Harboring his former self's memories after willingly regaining them, "Wanderer" is now the only title he goes by, for he has no home, no kin, and no destination.
During the Archon Quest As Though Morning Dew in Interlude Chapter: Act III - Inversion of Genesis, the player can change the Wanderer's name, subject to certain limitations. Similar to the Traveler, the name given will be reflected in some of the game's interfaces — such as the Party Setup — and will persist across different game languages. If the player is dissatisfied with the name given during the quest, they may rename the Wanderer with the item An Appellative Stroke, but may only do so once.
Personality
After erasing his Fatui ties from Irminsul, the Wanderer is shown to be kind and considerate, although somewhat distracted as he lacked a human heart and name. The lack of a human heart caused him to long for feelings that he could not experience and thus willingly accepted his memories back to reclaim his sins to be himself once more.
Following the restoration of his memories, the Wanderer still retained all of his traits as Scaramouche, although he states that he had always acted as such to be both strict on himself and others and that he simply states what he sees in front of him. He is not fond of most of his former co-workers, especially Dottore (Genshin Impact) as a result of his machinations that caused him to become who he was in the first place.
The Wanderer enjoys extremely bitter tastes. He despises sweets.
