BSS is an abbreviation for "Boku wa Saki ni Suki datta" (僕は先に好きだった) which mean "I like her first" in English. Typically refers to a situation where the character's crush is taken away by another character who is more proactive. This tag is typically focus on the perspective of male character who have a crush, usually female, taken away by another man before he confess his true feelings.
