Overview
The movement originated with the work “Brazilian Miku” by Doodly, posted on August 17th, 2024, and spread quickly from its posting.
Since then, it has become a trend to depict Miku in a way that reflects the ethnicity and culture of not only Brazil, but also the rest of the world.
Please note that Erin was the first to design the Brazilian Miku, and that Doodly's work is only a 2nd derivative work.
Doodly also posted, ''Hey beautiful people just wanted to to let you know that my drawing was inspired by this beautiful piece of art ,please give her love and support she deserve it too.''.
As of August 27th, 2024, 181 countries have been identified in the Miku's picture.
