Overview
DTM, short for Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, is a German touring car racing series. The series started in 1984, but now it is one of the most well-known motorsport brands in Germany. It is synonymous with top-class motorsport and features sustainable and future-oriented structures.
Whether showcasing Group A cars, Class 1 cars, or, since 2021, GT3 supercars, the DTM is recognized as the GT series with the highest performance density globally, thanks to its competitive field and the finest teams in this segment.
In December 2022, the ADAC acquired the brand rights to the DTM and has been responsible for organizing the series since then. The DTM now stands at the pinnacle of the ADAC motorsport hierarchy, which ranges from karting to the ADAC GT4 Germany, and the ADAC GT Masters, and culminates with the premier DTM class.
