Creation of Original Character Articles

The act of creating original character articles by the authors themselves is controversial. If you create an article, please be aware of the following points, so that the risk of causing trouble to other users can be avoided to some extent.

Do not create character articles about yourself, your My pixiv family members, or other people close to you. If you are only excited about your relatives, for example, we recommend that you explain this in the caption or on your own blog/site. This will avoid the "publicity scandal". Of course, please refrain from creating articles for the purpose of advertising, as this will also interfere with searches.

Try as much as possible to avoid blanking articles by users other than the user who produced the article. Since articles with original characters are controversial, even if another user blanks an article, the user who created the article may restore it, leading to an editing war. In some cases, the user who blanked the article may be reported. Therefore, we recommend that you contact the user who edited the article and have themself to blank it out, rather than blank it out by your own hand, except for the user who edited the article. However, users who have frozen or withdrawn their membership will not be able to contact us or edit articles.

Avoid reinstating an article immediately after it has been blanked. If an article has been blanked and you wish to restore the content of the article, ask the opinion of others (excluding people close to you, such as your own My pixiv family members) on the message board, or use the message function to ask the user who blanked the article why, and ask for advice. Note that it is highly likely that the user who blanked the article "had a problem with the act of article creation" (although in many cases it is just harassment), so keep that in mind when sending messages.

Do not use threats or other abusive language when writing or sending an opinion, as it may offend the other party and violate the Terms of Use. If you send an opinion, please ask the reason for the blanking of the article before you stop the blanking of the article. Of course, please wait almost a month to reply to a message, as it is for their convenience. If your message is ignored for a long period of time, but there are repeated editorial battles between the return of articles and the blanking of articles after waiting for a long period of time, promptly report or consult with the management.

Once an article is created, it cannot be erased. Please be sure to consider this before creating an article.
