A mermaid suit is a onepiece bodysuit made for swimming or diving, made of neoprene, latex, or other varieties of rubber. It ties the wearer's legs together and places a large monofin or similar fin at the tip, allowing for a swimming style similar to mermaids and dolphins.

Compared to mermaid tails, a mermaid suit also covers the torso and oftentimes the arms.
