Overview編集

A media franchise based on Fujio Akatsuka's masterpiece "Osomatsu-kun" as a project to commemorate the 80th anniversary of his birth. This is the first animation in 27 years since "Osomatsu-kun" (1988 version), and the third in the entire series.

In this work, an original story is drawn with the setting that the sextuplets have grown into adults. However, since some of the original settings are followed and some episodes are remade, strictly speaking, it is positioned as a side story of "Osomatsu-kun".

Main characters編集

Character voices are listed in the order of original language (Japanese)/English version.

  • Osomatsu (Voiced by: Takahiro Sakurai / Billy Kametz)

The eldest brother of sextuplet, he is a miraculous idiot who has grown up almost unchanged since elementary school. He is greedy for money and girls, but sometimes acts like a dependable older brother.

  • Karamatsu (Voiced by: Yuichi Nakamura / Ray Chase)

The 2nd son of sextuplet, he is a narcissist with a cringy personality. He always tries to look cool even when he is being pitied, but sometimes his mentality can be a bit weak.

  • Choromatsu (Voiced by: Hiroshi Kamiya / Sean Chiplock)

The 3rd son of sextuplet, he is an idol otaku. He is the most job-conscious of them all, but his indecisiveness and self-consciousness often make him a hard man to deal with.

  • Ichimatsu (Voiced by: Jun Fukuyama / Kyle McCarley)

The 4th son of sextuplet, he is a laid-back cat lover. He tends to have a negative attitude and a tongue that often hides his thoughts behind it.

He is also both a sadist and a masochist.

  • Jyushimatsu (Voiced by: Daisuke Ono / Michael Sinterniklaas)

The 5th son of sextuplet, he is a very free-spirited natural idiot. He has a very human physical strength and a talent for baseball, but in reality he is pure and kind.

  • Todomatsu (Voiced by: Miyu Irino / Max Mittelman)

The youngest brother of sextuplet, he is especially good with male friends and women, but his true self is sometimes revealed by his scheming tactics and merciless words toward his five older brothers.

  • Iyami (Voiced by: Kenichi Suzumura / Keith Silverstein)

A former star of the Showa period who is related to the six children. Although he still retains his sarcastic and fishy personality, in this work he is more of a sensible person and often takes the role of a comedian.

  • Chibita (Voiced by: Sachi Kokuryu / Alejandra E. Cazares)

A young man with a characteristic belligerent tone, he is a close friend of the sextuplets. He runs an oden stall, which is his favorite food, but the six regular customers are always running out of food, and the bill keeps piling up.

  • Totoko (Voiced by: Aya Endo / Cassandra Lee Morris)

The heroine of this story is the daughter of a fishmonger. She is always pampered by her childhood friends, the six children, and sometimes idolizes them.

  • Dekapan (Voiced by: Yoshi Ueda / Ray Chase)

A scientist who always wears only big pants. His laboratory handles a variety of chemicals and inventions, and these are often the catalyst for several major events in the film.

  • Dayon (Voiced by: Nobuo Tobita / Keith Silverstein)

The "monster," as he is called, is a man whose true identity is unknown. His large, impactful mouth has an amazing suction power that can suck in anything.

A young man with a flag stuck in his head who is a childhood friend of the six children. He is called "Mr. Flag" by the butlers and secretaries.
