Overview

A club activity at Motosu High School started up in the spring by Chiaki Oogaki and Aoi Inuyama, who wanted to go camping. It is also known as “Nokuru. Chiaki Oogaki is the club leader.

It is a small club with only two members that uses an unused vertical equipment closet as its club room, and according to new member Nadeshiko Kakamigahara, it is “a bed of eels.

Initially, they ordered a cheap 980 yen tent to enjoy summer camping, but their plans were scrapped when it was finally delivered in September, leaving them in a semi-dormant state where they only read camping magazines in the club room and drink coffee over a campfire on the ground.

The club is so short of budget that they have to work part-time to secure funds for their activities, and besides the aforementioned cheap tents and camping magazines, they have only a few bundles of firewood (which they bought at a higher price than the market price and are too lazy to use), pinecones for igniters, and a summer shooter. (I bought it at a higher price than the market, and it's too good to use), a pine cone for a fire starter, a summer sleeping bag (a sleeping bag. Since it was for summer, we had to wrap it with aluminum foil, bubble wrap, and cardboard to keep out the cold), a sheet, a blackboard, and a few cans of tuna for camping (both for food and for oil lamps).

After Nadeshiko joined the club, a new tent was purchased, and the club members began to plan and enjoy camping in earnest, bringing their own equipment.

At first, the club did not have an advisor and was supervised by Mr. Omachi, the mountaineering club advisor, but when they were having a bonfire on the ground before the Christmas camp, a new teacher, Ms. Toba, who did not know the situation, warned them about it, which led to the appointment of her as the club advisor.

She has been trying to recruit Shima Lynn and Ena Saitou, who participated in the Christmas camp, to join the club, but has not received a favorable response.

However, in volume 12 (the third season of the anime), Chiaki refers to herself, Aoi, and Ena as “the remaining members of Nokuru,” and it seems that she recognizes the five members as Nokuru members, including Nadeshiko and Rin, who went to the Oigawa camp.
