Overview
Quick drawing (早描き) is a battle against oneself, from the beginning to the end of the painting, to see how quickly it can be finished.
It is also a part of ones own training to draw minimal and accurate lines, to determine how much to complete in a short period of time, what to omit, and where to compromise.
There is a world of difference between a doodle drawn quickly and a careful piece of work drawn quickly, even if the words are the same.
