Overview
Rui Kamishiro and Tenma Tsukasa are fictional characters from the video game Project Sekai. They are currently third years in class 3-C in the school Kamiyama High. Tsukasa was in class 2-A and Rui was in 2-B last year. Rui is 182cm (was 180) and Tsukasa is 173cm (was 172), giving them a 9cm height difference. They used to shows together with Kusanagi Nene and Emu Otori at the Wonder Stage, as of Our Happy Ending, they’ve become a traveling troupe.
Tsukasa used to be pretty selfish and only wanted to do shows for fame and attention, but after meeting the rest of his troupemates (and some fights), he slowly discovered the true reason behind it, to make people smile.
Rui used to be very lonely, his only friends being Akiyama Mizuki and Nene. He’s constantly being called an outcast and looked upon as weird in middle school. (His life just got better after meeting Tsukasa)
Interactions
Tsukasa accidentally got hurt by one of Rui’s robots during a Halloween practice and Rui subconsciously held back on his directing in fear of Tsukasa leaving him again. He later got help from Kaito in Sekai and was able to make it up to him.
During a school trip with the second years, Rui thanked Tsukasa for giving him the chance to change, he found out that he has been smiling a lot more after meeting Tsukasa.
They’re called the Weirdo Combo in their school, because they’re alwys up to something, mainly causing trouble to everyone. (Rui drags Tsukasa in every one of them) There is not a single day where Kamiyama can live without explosions happening or at least like 3 teachers chasing Rui and Tsukasa everywhere.
Akiyama Mizuki has noticed significant changes in Rui since middle school. They think that the changes started to happen after Rui met Tsukasa.

According to a message qna back in january 2024, Rui runs faster than Tsukasa while running away from teachers because Tsukasa still tries to run slower since it’s school grounds.
In Tsukasa’s 4th focus song, Filament Fever, they sing the line, “I wish that I could say it was chance and fate” together with Tsukasa as the backing vocals.
