Introduction

A short oddball who has had a rough background in the Way of White Sisterhood orphanage house and whose origins are quite mysterious as she was found inside an abandoned house near the scorned forest and has a dark sigil on her right biceps. She works as an assistant in the humongous “Sapient Library” located in the Alara Meadows, a place where she met her very first group of friends.

Sali must be careful not to overflow her mind with grim thoughts otherwise her dark sigil will grow larger and cause her to emanate dangerous hexes. Something ironic considering she became goth but the reality is, she enjoys dark content and appreciates its artistic effort.

Appearance

Sali has dark skin, emerald eyes, uses black lipstick and has short messy hair being held by two hair buns. Moving below she wears a black choker and a black heart locket with a silver chain which was given to her by Poli, this small locket contains a photo of Poli and Yari from left side and Sali kissing Master from the right side. Sali’s most curious feature is a black sigil located on her right biceps, a mark which looks like a small black hole dripping darkness, she usually covers it with clothes or a white bandage made out of thick fabric. Her torn baggy sweater is relatively large which almost covers her hands but funnily enough not her tummy and also has a saddened skull print, looking more carefully you can see her white bra underneath, that if she’s even wearing one during that day. She wears tight black jeans which are torn in the thighs area, moving below she’s always wearing some worn out black sneakers.

Personality

Sali is for the most part calm, smug, humorist and lovely. Ever since she met with her first and only group of friends at her library job, she’s not afraid to express how deeply she loves them even more so Poli’s Master who’s constantly being the target of Sali’s affection and seductions. So many positive personality traits are also the cause of Sali’s constant paranoia at keeping her dark sigil as contained as possible, so much so that every time something remotely bad happens she becomes anxious and copes with any kind of positive aspects she manages to latch onto.

In short, Sali is confident and humorist. She is often helping the group at improving themselves and making them laugh or feel relaxed. Outside the group she’s seen like the leader as she’s always easing the situation with her voice and won’t hesitate if it ever comes to defending them.

Trivia

• Bunalonne got the idea of Sali bursting her powers against bullies simply because his mom was watching “Carrie” that day.
• Her hexes are a reference on how one of Bunalonne’s friends is a huge fan of the hexes in Dark Souls 2.
• The sole reason why Sali is related to faith and dark sigils is because back then, Bunalonne was currently going through “The Cathedral of the Deep” in Dark Souls 3.
• The dark sigil she has suggests that Sali is somewhat related to whatever is slumbering inside the Scorned Forest…
• Whenever this dark sigil grows larger it causes a pain to Sali’s left arm, so much so that it caused a paranoia on Sali. This is a reference on Bunalonne’s constant paranoia at getting another RSI.
• The idea of Sali being an unwanted orphan was a concept that Bunalonne took from “Yami”, a character written by him which was gifted to VitaNeeta. Interestingly enough, Yami was dark skinned on her 1st version designed by SlimyLoliTrash.
• Kagami, a character created and owned by Vitaneeta, awoken Bunalonne’s affinity towards green eyed goth girls. Reason why he fell in love as soon as he saw Sali’s design.
• In the beginning, Sali had a character named “Sister Teresa” on her side, an idea which was later scrapped as, according to Bunalonne, he wanted her to be as solitary as possible until the met with Poli and Yari. Reason for this is also because he began considering her as a 3rd main OC.
• At first Poli and Yari were meant to be a duo, but later on Bunalonne got more and more inspired from turning them into a trio with Sali. This feeling was deeply inspired from Lisa the Hopeful and Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA.
• Mr.Reginald, Sali's decrepit boss, is a reference to “Old Man Reginald”, a character from Lisa the Hopeful.
• Her name has no real meaning and her surname is a combination of the words “Dark+Gem”.
