Overview

Spice and Wolf first started as a light novel series running from June 2006, with currently 17 volumes released. The light novel won the ASCII Media Works' twelfth Dengeki Novel Prize in 2005 in the Silver Prize category.

The anime was adapted into 2 seasons, ran from Jan 2008 to March 2008 (Season 1), and then July 2009 to September 2009 (Season 2).
