    Sakura Dormitory is a dormitory of a high school affiliated with Suiko Art University. Sorata Kanda is a 2nd-year graphic arts student who has to move into this troublesome place for stealing cats and start his annoying and hilarious days there. His life changed when Mashiro Shiina - the niece of the dormitory supervisor Chihiro - moved from the UK to Japan.

    Sorata has to take care of Shiina because she has no life skills and is only absorbed in drawing manga. The story is about their daily lives as well as their mental growth.
