Hajime Kamoshida (鴨志田 一, Kamoshida Hajime), born on April 11, 1978 in Kanagawa Prefecture, is a Japanese novelist. He made his debut as a novelist in July 2007 with the novel Kaguya: Tsuki no Usagi no Gin no Hakobune.
He is known for his depiction of adversity caused by human relationships and social pressure, and the growth of characters who rise to the occasion. He is also known for incorporating elements such as the contrast between genius and ordinary people and talent.
While the company is particularly good at romance, it also clearly states that "getting together is not the goal," and its depictions of couples after they have formed are so highly regarded that they have a devoted and fixed fan base.
