Overview

Tomokazu Sugita (杉田 智和, Sugita Tomokazu) is a Japanese voice actor currently employed by Atomic Monkey. While known for his role as Hideki Motosuwa(Chobits), his popularity took off when he voiced Gintoki Staka(Gintama) and Kyon(The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) in 2006.

Freedom Sugita

Tomokazu Sugita is nicknamed "Freedom Sugita" by fans due to his extensive amount of knowledge in anime, manga and game and usually use them as references during radio talk shows and interviews. He is also known to do adlibs in his roles and mimics other seiyuu voices (especially Norio Wakamoto). With the amount of chaos he can bring out, it takes someone who's good at tsukkomi to stop him.

Tomokazu also gave nicknames to other seiyuu members and is also used among fans.
