Overview
Water (水, mizu) is a compound of hydrogen and oxygen, chemically represented by the chemical formula H₂O.
Mostly, it refers to the liquid state, with the solid state being called ice and the gaseous state being called water vapor.
In Japanese, water is called mizu when the temperature is low or room temperature, while it is called yu (hot water) when the temperature is higher than room temperature.
