Dangerous Mix

Dangerous Mix (混ぜるな危険) is a tag for when different types of images are mixed together in a unusual way.

Overview

Dangerous Mix (混ぜるな危険) originally was a warning on detergents. It is a tag that is given when two or more different types of images are mixed together to create something unusual or "cursed".

It is also the title of a song by the Japanese rock band Kinniku Shōjo Tai.

Meanings

Tag

A tag given when the mixing of two or more different images results in something unusual. It is sometimes given together with the similar tag Natural Mix, but in this case, the combination is so convincing that it makes one feel that the idea should never have been conceived.

Detergent

Originally, it was a warning that came to be written after a fatal accident occurred when chlorine gas, which was also used as a poison gas, was generated by mixing detergents for baths and toilets (bleach x acid detergent) in the form of transferring containers.

If it happens in a toilet it would become a gas chamber, and if you hear that it was used to depict mass suicide (attempt) in a certain magical girl anime you will understand the danger.

It is conspicuously placed near the surface and in a large font with a combination of yellow and red colors to convey the danger. Incidentally, the notation here is "Do not mix. Detergents with this notation are extremely dangerous, even in small amounts, so never mix them!".

Kinniku Shōjo Tai's Song

This song was used as the OP song for the TV anime version of Ushio and Tora (episodes 1 through 26).

The author has been influenced by Kinniku Shōjo Tai, using them as a motif in his manga, and it seems that when he was writing Ushio Tora he used Kinniku Shōjo Tai as his background music for work, and "solidified his image".

The song was later recorded for Pop'n Music, éclale, Guitar Hero Tri-Boost, and in 2016 it was also recorded for REFLEC BEAT, VOLZZA2, jubeat, and BeatStream.
