Overview
Block (ブロック, burokku) are pieces used for construction. Other usage of the word may also refer to:
- Clump, lump, mass, "block of meat", ect.
- A hard tool shaped into a geometric shape (often rectangular). Used by stacking multiple pieces.
- Toys similar to building blocks. Many of the commercially available ones have uneven surfaces so that they do not come off by themselves because they are caught on each other.
- Interference or blocking. A term used in sports.
- An obstacle or scaffold on the stage of a video game.
- Refusing interference from certain users on pixiv and other social networking sites.
- A character in Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai. He has the role of a castle soldier of the Hadlar Royal Guards. For more information, see Block (Adventure of Dai).
