Overview
Angels (天使, tenshi) are depicted in terms of messengers of God or inhabitants of the heavenly realm, and are found in the three Abrahamic religions, Zoroastrianism, and others. Angels in Japanese creations are often treated as subracial beings such as winged men, and their settings vary widely.
