Rin Satsuki (冴月　麟) was the third playable character of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil who was cut during production but managed to leave a trace in the source code. An alleged portrait of her (or an otherwise unknown character) appears on Team Shanghai Alice's circle ad in the Comiket when EoSD was first released. Official pronunciation and romanization are unknown.

Although there are no canon evidence to show what Rin really looks like, most people go with the Rin Satsuki in the circle cut with blonde hair, red bow, red blouse and pink or white shirt.
