Akira Sakura (佐倉 明, Sakura Akira) is an eighth grade girl who is a dragon bearer to Ensof. She met and became friends with Shiina Tamai during a trial enrollment in a sports-chambara class.
Despite her good looks, she is introverted, bullied, and has a phobia of other people and has been truant from school. Her parents own a restaurant. She seems to enjoy fortune-telling and carries tarot cards.
Akira's dragon child is a star-shaped dragon child like Hoshimaru. The differences in their appearances are that they have no mouths and their eyes have a blurred look. Akira and Ensof were linked in class, but the shock of the crash traumatized Akira, and she was reluctant to use the Ensof.
However, it is not completely helpless. It disguised itself as Hoshimaru to protect Shiina, asked for help when Amapola kidnapped Akira, and led Shiina to Sheol at the end of the story.
