Profile
Overview
Albert Einstein (アルベルト・アインシュタイン) was a Jewish theoretical physicist of German origin. He disliked the militaristic climate in Germany and became a Swiss citizen, later becoming an American citizen.
He is famous for his theories of general and special relativity, and is often called the greatest physicist of the 20th century and the father of modern physics. He also won the Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on the photoelectric effect (it is often assumed that he won the Nobel Prize for relativity, but this is incorrect).
Based on the principle of relativity, he fundamentally reconstructed the system of physics with Henri Poincaré, Joseph Larmor, Hendrik Lorentz, and others.
