Overview
An arcade games (アーケードゲーム, ākēdo gēm) type of game that is played by putting money into a game center.
In contrast to home video games, they are also called commercial games (業務用ゲーム).
In Japan, they were often called video games until around the 1990s.
They are found not only in game arcades but also in video arcades, candy stores, bowling alleys, batting centers, and other places.
Some people even own their own cabinets.
