David Martinez (デイヴィッド・マルティネス, Deividdo Marutenesu) was a 17-year-old boy who attended Arasaka Academy in Night City.
He was living a stifling life, but after a tragedy, he decided to install (implant) a powerful cyberware, Sandevistan.
After a series of twists and turns, he meets a mysterious netrunner girl named Lucy, and soon becomes one of the city's mercenaries, the Cyberpunks (edgerunners), and ventures into the dangerous world of outlaws who run on the edge between life and death.
