Domestic Violence

Domestic violence (ドメスティックバイオレンス, domesutiku baiorensu), abbreviated as DV in Japanese, are violent acts against a close relative in the home.

In Japan, it is often interpreted as marital violence (especially by men against women), but this is not the original meaning.
