East Asia

East Asia (東アジア) is the easternmost part of the Eurasian continent, bordering the Pacific Ocean and its attached seas. It often does not include the territory of the Russian Federation.
East Asia (東アジア, Higashi-Ajia) is a term used when the vast Asian region is divided into several parts. It refers to the easternmost part of Asia, near the Pacific Ocean. It is also called the Far East, but since this term is used by Westerners, it is undesirable for Japanese and Chinese to refer to themselves by this term.
