Hikaru Nakamura (中村 光, Nakamura Hikaru) is a manga artist from Shizuoka Prefecture, born on April 21, 1984.
Her representative works include Nakamura Koubou, Arakawa Under the Bridge, and Saint Young Men.
She made her debut when she was 16 years old with the publication of Kairi no Sue in Monthly Gangan Wing.
She has long been famous among her fans as a "beautiful manga artist", and for this reason has many fans not of her works but of herself.
In 2011, Morning Two No. 49 announced that Saint Young Men, which had been serialized in the magazine, would be taking a break due to the birth of her baby.
Style
She is known for his eccentric and nonsensical gags, a style that has been well established since she made his debut at the age of 16.
She is also particular about her characterization, with a wide variety of characters ranging from those whose words, actions, and behavior are out of the ordinary to those whose very existence itself is a dead giveaway.
Also, as she is quite a gun enthusiast, a variety of firearms appear in the arrival.
