Overview
The Indo-European languages (インド・ヨーロッパ語族, Indo-Yōroppa gozoku) are a phylogenetic grouping of languages based on their origins. Originally, languages of this group were distributed from the Indian subcontinent to the Middle East and Europe, but as a result of European expansion into various parts of the world after the Age of Discovery, languages of this group are now spoken in all regions of the world.
