Lessons (授業, jugyō) come from a teacher's objective is to help students acquire the knowledge and skills of the subject for which they are responsible.

In most cases, classes are conducted in the classroom using textbooks and other materials.

Some classes, such as experiments, are conducted by students on their own initiative.
