Overview
PlatinumGames (プラチナゲームズ, Purachina Gēmuzu) is a video game manufacturer headquartered in Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. The company mainly plans and produces home video game software, and announced a business partnership with Sega in May 2008 with Anarchy Reigns being the last time Sega published back in 2013.
Representative works include Bayonetta series, Vanquish, and MadWorld.
Many of these games are characterized by their foreign-oriented settings and stylish action performances. The majority of the games themselves also feature dialogue in English.
The staff includes Atsushi Inaba and Hideki Kamiya, who worked at Capcom and were involved in the development of Devil May Cry and God Hand.
