Biology編集

Reshiram is a white-colored, bipedal Pokémon with draconic, avian and mammalian traits. Most of its body parts were covered in fur. Its eyes have blue irises and black pupils.

There's the neck rings and tail band on its long neck and its tail respectively.

It has a jet engine-like tail, which it uses to accelerate itself when flying at high speeds. It can send flames from its tail into the air to incinerate everything around it.

Together with Zekrom and Kyurem, they are known as the Tao Trio, with Reshiram representing the Yang part.

Reshiram has a light, airy, feminine design.

In Games編集

Reshiram first appears in Pokémon Black and White. In the white version Reshiram is a non-acquirable Pokémon and is the ally of N, while in the black version it is a ally to the player and acquirable as the story progresses.

Reshiram would later appears in the white version of Pokémon Black and White 2, but did not appear in the black version.

Unlike Zekrom who has higher attack and defense stats, Reshiram has higher special attack and special defense stats.

Its ability, Turboblaze, ignores the effects of Abilities that could potentially affect the damage or effects of a move that its user executes. This can be useful in battle.

However, Reshiram becomes less useful in Generation VI games because Dragon type Pokémon are weak against Fairy Type Pokémon, and the Tao Trio, including Reshiram, are no exceptions of it.

Its signature moves are Fusion Flare and Blue Flare. The power of Fusion Flare will be doubled if Zekrom use either Fusion Bolt or Bolt Strike.

Kyurem, one of the member of the Tao Trio, can become White Kyurem upon using the DNA Splicers to fuse it with Reshiram.

In Anime編集

Reshiram appears in the 14th Pokémon movies, White—Victini and Zekrom and Black—Victini and Reshiram. In the former, it is controlled by Damon, while in the latter, it is controlled by Ash.

Ghetsis order Reshiram to attack Ash, N and the others when they tries to resist him, but it was ultimately freed once Ash's Pikachu destroyed Colress's machine. N was then able to convince it that not all humans were evil, and it departed peacefully.
