Introduction

Saki is a talented girl who excels in both study and sports, transferring to Yoba Academy upon passing her audition for Photon Maiden. Having "synesthesia", she can see color in music. She is a person of few words, but shows her outstanding performance on stage.

Appearance

Saki has long, lavender white hair styled in a side fringe that falls just above her waist. Her eyes appear to be a silver-gray color.

Background

Saki is originally from Hokkaido where she lived with her parents. When Saki was young, her father took her stargazing, which led to her developing her love for space and her dream of wanting to become an astronaut. One day in middle school, after thinking how she hadn't made any progress towards her dream, Saki stumbled upon a DJ concert and was completely mesmerized by the sight. She then approached the DJ and upon learning about the profession, asked her to teach her how to DJ.

A month later her mentor suggested she participate at a DJ event, and although she was extremely nervous and even screwed up during her performance, she managed to get back on track and catch a glimpse of the "cosmos" she was trying to reach out to, which in turn made Saki realize she loves DJing. After the performance, Kanade, feeling very proud of Saki's skills, suggested she go to Tokyo instead of just remaining in obscurity and showed her a flyer about an audition for a new DJ unit produced by Shano Himegami. She then passed the audition on her first try and became a member of Photon Maiden.

Personality

Although she seems aloof and mysterious on the outside, Saki has a sweet and polite personality, characterized by her formal and soft-spoken way of speaking. Having an innocent demeanor, various characters excessively dote on her, but she cherishes her friends regardless. Saki notably carries an abundance of intellectual and sensory knowledge, yet lacks certain real-world skills which often puts her into awkward situations, and her friends have to step in to teach her the right way of doing things, but she'll also inquire them herself. She also has a tendency to be airheaded, often staring off into space when left unattended, which is a result of her inquisitive nature of the world around her.
