Overview
Shoujo☆Kageki Revue Starlight -Re LIVE- (少女☆歌劇レヴュースタァライト -Re LIVE-) or Starira, is a smartphone game application for Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight, co-developed by Bushiroad and Ateam. The service officially started on 21 October 2018 for Android and 28 October 2018 for iOS respectively.
The game genre is billed as a 'Revue & Adventure RPG'. The main scenario features an original storyline throughout the entire game, and in addition to Karen Aijo, Hikari Kagura and other stage girls from the 99th class of Seisho Music Academy, new original game characters from the Rinmeikan Girls School, Frontier School of Arts and Siegfeld Institute of Music have been introduced. In December 2020, members of the Seiran General Art Institute were also added to the game.
While the revues in the original stage play and anime series are mainly musical-style battles between stage girls that include killing and singing, in this game, the main battle style is against a mysterious enemy called the 'khoros' (chorus).
In addition, the game is also notable for the fact that it is not a rhythm game, unlike other contents in which music is the main feature, and only a few phrases of songs from the series are used in the game.
On pixiv, the tag is mostly used for illustrations depicting original game characters such as Tamao Tomoe, Aruru Otsuki and Akira Yukishiro, as well as stage girls in game original costumes.
