Television Touhou (テレビ東方, terebi Tōhō) is given to Touhou Project illustrations drawn in the style of a television anime.
The illustrations often have an anime television style appearance, such as being colored in anime coloring or having letterboxing on the top and bottom.
The term originates from TV Tokyo, which (despite having the fewest number of affiliated stations) is the dominant terrestrial commercial TV anime broadcaster.
This tag is almost synonymous tag is anime tokyo. There are also parodies of special effects and variety shows.
